We stripped all the old paper and paint (walls, ceilings) re-plastered and painted throughout, including all woodwork. "Very pleased with my new en suite shower room. I was worried about the cost of doing work on such a small area, but it’s been worth it and I would definitely recommend. It was a small mouldy room with no window and poor ventilation and the shower had previously leaked causing water damage. The room is a strange shape with concrete pillars etc. I contacted a lot of tradespeople and Mike was the only person willing to take on such an awkward job (a bathroom designer laughed in my face and said you need a magician not a designer). How much does plumbing or electrical work cost?
Small jobs are usually priced as a fixed quote once we have seen what is involved. Larger work such as a rewire or a full first fix is quoted per project, based on the size of the property and how much making good is needed. You get the figure in writing before anything starts.
How quickly can you come out for a leak or fault?
Urgent problems like an active leak or a dead circuit we try to attend the same day or next day wherever we can. Planned work is booked in once you are happy with the quote, and we tell you honestly if we cannot get to you quickly rather than leaving you waiting.
Do you handle both the plumbing and the electrics?
Yes. We cover both, which is the main reason people call us. On most jobs the pipework and the cabling affect each other, so having one team plan both avoids the usual back and forth between separate trades.
Will you make good the walls and floors afterwards?
Yes. Lifting floorboards and chasing walls is part of the job, and so is putting them back. We patch, plaster and leave the area ready for decorating, rather than handing it over half finished.
